Todd Holt: -
Todd is the Director of Business Development for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance (Alliance), Broward County’s official public/private partnership for economic development. In this position, which he has held since 2011, Todd is responsible for identifying and assisting companies looking to expand and/or relocate to Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County. Todd has been the project lead on several notable projects including Magic Leap, Virgin Voyages, American Express, Hotwire Communications and Apotex Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining the Alliance, Todd was the Project Manager, Life Sciences with Enterprise Florida (2006-2011), where he was tasked with facilitating the “Life Sciences” sector throughout the State of Florida. Todd was the lead on several high-profile projects including Torrey Pines Institute of Molecular Studies, Becton Dickinson & Company, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and the Max Planck Florida Institute. Todd holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas, and Master’s Degree in Economic Development as a recipient of the Herring Fellowship at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. Todd serves on the Board of Directors for the Ann Storck Center, Life Sciences South Florida (LSSF), BioFlorida SE Chapter and the United Way Public Policy Advisory Board. He is a recent graduate of Leadership Broward Class XXXIII.
